Club Deck works with clients to develop a range of fully customised products for the client's members which may include photographic images and/or personal information. Club Deck understands that your privacy is important and is committed to the ethical use of client supplied artwork, images and personal information.
At Club Deck we're serious about privacy. We are committed to addressing privacy concerns and protecting your privacy in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 National Privacy Principles (NPPs) of Australia, and as set out in the and the amended Privacy Act. Club Deck also adheres to the principles and guidelines in relation to collection and use of photographic images andof the Australian Direct Marketers Association (ADMA). What personal information does Club Deck collect and what is it used for?
Club Deck collects personal information directly from its clients and their members for the production of customised card, award, photography and other relatedproducts. The collection of this personal information is via www.clubdeck.com and as a part of the collection process, all clients are required to have read and agreed to Club Deck's Privacy Policy in relation to the collection and use of their personal information. All of the data collected by Club Deck will only be used by Club Deck and any necessary Club Deck suppliersfor the production of the client's personalised Club Deck products. Club Deck does not sell, rent or trade personal information about you to, or with, third parties.
How secure is the personal information?
Club Deck takes all reasonable procedures to ensure the security of personal information collected. When clients provide personal information, the data is protected both online and off-line. All information in Club Deck databases is kept strictly confidential. Only authorized employees are permitted access to the personal information. All access to the online Management Tools are protected through password protected access.
Is consent for photography required?
Under Australian law, consentis not required in order totake photographs of people of any age group for the purposesfor which Club Deckcollects and produces products for sale back to that club or school. Secure access to view your photos at www.clubdeck.com utilises an industry best practice allocation of a 12 digit unique client login code supplied to each club or school individually.
What if I want to opt out of email marketing communication?
Club Deck requires your email address so we are able to communicate instructions and other information and promotional offers relevant to your club or school. Recipients who no longer wish to receive email, direct mail or promotional materials from Club Deck may opt-out of receiving these communications by clicking on the web link provided for this purpose in the emails that we send, or by providing a written or verbal request for other media. This opt-out will cancel all marketing materials. Club Deck retains a copy of the opt-out file in proof of support of the Direct Marketing Association email marketing protocol.
May I access and correct my personal information?
Under the principles outlined in the Australian Federal Privacy Act, you are able to access your personal information upon request. If you have received a Club Deck product and want to access the personal information that Club Deck has stored about you, we will provide you with a copy of the personal information we hold about you within 5 working days of receipt of your request in writing,based on Club Deck receiving proof of identity.
